Table massage is a full hour massage utilizing swedish, shiatsu, trigger point, range of motion, stretching and acupressure techniques designed invidually to work on your areas of concern. The table massage in my clinic may be done through your clothes in order to allow for more stretches and comfort if you would like. The clinic is currently open Monday through Friday. Fee: $55/1 hour, $30/30min.
On-site chair massage involves swedish, shiatsu, trigger point, and acupressure techniques. This type of massage is ideal for the workplace. It is convenient and beneficial for both the client and the employer. I offer this service in established businesses such as health food stores as well as big corporations. Also, I enjoy attending festivals and holiday events. The average chair massage is 15 minutes, but can be as lengthy as 30 minutes or as brief as you would like. Herbal Consultations consist of a comprehensive assessment according to Traditional Chinese Medicine theory and principles. This involves an interview, as well as tongue and pulse assessment. In Traditional Chinese Herbal medicine energetic imbalances can be determined from the shape, coat, and color of the tongue as well as the quality of the pulse. Pulse assessment in TCM is much more involved than just simply the rate of the pulse and this gives great insight into the inner workings of the entire body. The consultation can last from 45 minutes to an hour and 1/2. Finally, this consultation concludes with a suggestion of an herbal formula specifically for your individual imbalances, as well as suggestion of dietary and lifestyle changes according to the wisdom of Chinese medicine to bring balance to the entire body and mind. Fee: $35 initial consultation; $20 follow up
